A Rochester joint like no other, a pop up Instagram restaurant that serves Nashville-style hot chicken, is doing their part to help during the crisis.​

Hillary Coolican was in line on a return visit after the chicken on her first visit was "phenomenal." Chick'n Out pop-ups are held Thursdays at the Blossom Road Pub.

The fried chicken phenomenon — which had dozens and dozens of people lining up at their Thursday pop-ups at Blossom Road Pub — was looking to fully integrate into a new space on University Avenue and hit Sunday pick up service in full swing.

The company posted on its Instagram page that the new location will be 37 Charlotte Street in the city’s East End neighborhood.

This summer, fried chicken was brought into the mainstream conversation when Popeyes and Chick-fil-A exchanged in a “Twitter beef” about who had the better-fried chicken sandwich. 

If you’ve driven by Blossom Road Pub on a Thursday evening, you’ve probably seen a line extended out the door, and there’s a tasty reason as to why that is.

 “[In Brooklyn,] I was living next to one of the best fried chicken places,” Bierton said, “I was spoiled.” So when he couldn’t find quality fried chicken west of the Hudson River, he decided to make his own.
